Downloading Updates - Visionary On The Web
Visionary On The Web allows you to retrieve updates and new forms, learn about the company, check out a selection of related links, and review frequently asked questions.

Internet access is listed as one of the requirements of Visionary OFFICE™ PM. All updates for Visionary OFFICE™ PM are done through the Internet, and are placed on the web on a weekly basis. We recommend you download an update at least once a week to stay current.

To access the Download Update feature within Visionary OFFICE™ PM, click on the 'Help' drop down menu, select Visionary On The Web, and then select the Download An Update option

Downloading An Update
1. Make sure to have your Internet connection established. Consult your hardware personnel with matters regarding this issue.
2. Click on the Help drop down menu, select Visionary On The Web, and then select the first option, Download An Update.
3. When the Internet Connection window pops up, the option in the Select Transfer box is The Visionary Office Update. Leave this option selected to download the update.
4. Click the 'PROCEED' button. Visionary OFFICE™ PM connects directly with our site, finds the update, and prompts you to download the additions. Other users do NOT have to log out of Visionary OFFICE™ PM during this process.
5. A window pops up displaying the current available enhancements to Visionary OFFICE™ PM. If the text in the white box reads, "You are on the most current version," this means there are no new updates to download at this time. Check back again soon. Otherwise, Visionary OFFICE™ PM lists the updates ready to be downloaded. Below is a sample screen.



6. Click the "PROCEED WITH DOWNLOAD" button to finish downloading the update, or click the "CANCEL" button to quit the process and close the window
7. Click the "PRINT" button if you wish to print the updates you are downloading. This step is not necessary, however, if you wish to keep this information for your records, the option is available.
8. As each user logs back on to their workstation, Visionary OFFICE™ PM prompts an automatic update.

Trouble Shooting Downloading An Update
Check the items below if you’re having trouble downloading an update. If after going through the list you’re still at a loss, contact Visionary Technical Support.

Commonly Experienced Errors
1. Multiple sessions of Visionary are running on the same workstation.
2. You have not logged onto the server with the server password.
3. You have not established an Internet connection.

Common System Errors
1. Your system is not mapped correctly.
2. Your system is not networked yet.
3. The directories and file folders are not set up correctly.
4. Your modem speed is set too low.
Common Internet Problems
1. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is terminating your session (kicking you off) before the download is complete.
2. Your ISP’s network is temporarily down.
3. There may be a firewall blocking your access.
4. Your modem speed is set too low.
